The Lake Monster

Buck was unknown to the area he was taken in. He was harvested November 18, opening morning of rifle 2023 in Ontario County.

I was just looking for a fat doe to share with my friend whose land I was hunting when the buck showed up with his harem. I was hunting from a 10' ladder stand and had to make a right hand shot and I'm a southpaw.

His outside spread was 25 3/8". I count it the second best day of hunting I ever had. The best was my 14yr old son taking his first deer, a spike.
