"The Second Chance Buck", his second mistake was my second chance to score.

The Buck was shot in Springwater, New York on 11/17/12 and has 12 points. Live weight was 223 lbs and the buck is estimated to be 5-1/2 years old. Green score 164-3/8, with deductions, 154-4/8.

I hunted him since opening of bow season, only had one shot at him on Sunday November 11, 2012 It was a 40 yard bow shot, I hit him a little high in his shoulder and that was the last I saw of him...until opening morning of gun season.
I hunted the same area, but a different stand. At 8am he came out of the swamp. One shot and it was over. Seven long weekends of chasing him. Finally success.
