END OF THE SECOND DAY SOUTHERN TIER RIFLE SEASON THE BLUE JAYS TOLD ME A DEER WAS COMING TO MY GOLDENROD BRUSH LOT. I SAW A TREE TOP SHAKING OVER THE BANK AS THE BUCK RAKED THE BARK OFF.

WHEN THE TREE STOPPED MOVING I RAISED MY RIFLE AND HE ENTERED MY SHOOTING LANE THE BUCK WENT BACK OVER THE BANK AFTER THE SHOT OUT OF VIEW. I WAITED UNTIL DARK FOR THE RECOVERY.
